Hi, I use the HRM pro and have the same problem. It is just 8 months old now. I never opened the HRM until it stopped working. Then I just went to change the battery and found a drop of water on the battery. I have not noticed a crack yet, but will look closer now.
HRM-Pro and Stryd wind compute power very differently. It is not a 1-1 replacement. On my experience I did not find garmin power a reliable replacement for Stryd. ETA: I think you have to have the power widget on your watch to even have garmin figure power. Totally true. Partially true.
Hi everyone, Title is wrong 😂 just stopped working. Did a Wattbike workout this morning with HRM working fine, connecting to both Wattbike and Fenix 7X. Came to my evening workout and it just wouldn’t connect. Tried restarting watch, forgetting the HRM on the watch and trying to search again. Now the watch can’t find the HRM anymore.
I've just got a Tacx Flowsmart trainer so have started to use the Tacx Desktop App on my windows 10 laptop. The app connects quickly to the trainer with no problems. However, the app cannot see my Garmin Heart Rate Monitor which connects via Ant +. The app shows that Ant+ is available, I've checked HRM is working fine by testing against my Edge
I have been working out with the HRM pro (yellow) for a while now. Batteries are good and strap is still in really good shape, its only 5 months used. I've been using Garmin's HRM straps for many years now, from swim, tri, pro, and standard HRM units. I've never had an issue with cold weather operation until this latest HRM pro strap.

It also seems that even when the heart rate monitor is "functioning" the stress and body battery readings are completely thrown off. I have invested a lot in garmin over the years, but I am very disappointed with this current lack of performance.
